Hello!

Hello, my name Is Abbey Booth and this is my blog for my adventures. I am 19 years old and I am a student at Sunderland University studding Broadcast Media Production (TV and Radio to you and me.) For the next two weeks I am back in my hometown in Teesside, which is south of Newcastle and north of Yorkshire in the North East of England, because no-one knows where it is! This is what I look like. This was me on my birthday way back in May. Before my boyfriend and I went to a Chinese food buffet and then a walk to the beach where we discovered what monkeys blood is (red sauce?! not ketchup, the sweet one you have on ice cream, but it did lead to a very confusing few minutes before we realised what we were about to eat...) Before we went back and watched some Game Of Thrones while I opened my present. I am one of those people who go on and on about their birthday for ages before it actually happens. I feel sorry for the people who I was cooked up in a TV studio gallery with for the 3 days before my birthday. (Sorry guys)

 We all seem to be waiting for something interesting in our lives to happen. So I have decided to Blog mine! This past year has been one of the best years of my life, but it has also been one of my hardest. This is why I want to start blogging. I want to blog my holiday trips (we all love holiday snaps... Don't we?) Pieces of make up that i like, my Instagram diary. I am one of those people who will literally watch anything that has someones life in it. As in I cannot get enough of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. My boyfriend takes the mic out of the YouTube channels that I subscribe to -.- (he doesn't understand how I can sit and watch people talking to a camera.) Above is a picture of me and my boyfriend in the South of France last week. Which is something I never expected to say. It still seems surreal that we actually went. One thing I did learn while I was there, it that I have become a nervous flyer. 


My First 'Proper' blog post will be up tomorrow. For now I am going to try and blog as much as I can, however once i return to University I will be extremely busy again. So posts may be a little sparse. But I am determined to try and get one post up a week!

Hello.... It's been nearly three years since I actually wrote anything on here. So Hi. Let me reintroduce myself my names Abbey, I'm 22 and I live in Leeds now. This is the first place I have ever lived outside the north east. I grew up there and ended up going to university there as well. A couple of months ago I was looking to buy a deep conditioning treatment for my hair that tackled frizziness. When I walked to the hair products part of boots I was met with many different brands with varying prices. I almost bought a Charles Worthington one for much more money. I paid £5 for this deep conditioner. What drew me to it, at first, was its packaging. It is in a bright pink container so you can't miss it! I personally think that the smell of this product does have a medical scent to it. It reminds me of a doctors surgery. However that is the only thing that I can fault this product on. I am quite sceptical on anti-frizz products because 9 times out of 10 they do not work. They just leave your hair weighed down and are a waste of money. However I will be repurchasing this product when it runs out. The (not so) Secret River

The past couple of weeks I have been on holiday in the South of France with my boyfriend and my boyfriends brother. We have been staying with some of his distant family. We would all go and stay in a strangers house for two weeks if it was in the south of France... Right? We were cat sitting for them. Even though the cat hated us and it was only on the final night that he actually let us stroke him. It was also the first time he had seen him eat since we had got there as well. Which was rather worrying. However he seemed to be okay, which was good. If theres anything worse then staying in a distant relatives house, it would defiantly be accidentally killing their cat.
